Four members of the state mission are part of that body and they committed to act in accordance with their positions and what was established by the Electoral Law, the oath and the instructions of the National Electoral Council.

The commission will aim to organize, direct and supervise the participation in the referendum of all compatriots with official duties in China.

Its president, Erianna Suarez, ratified the will to carry out each step with the seriousness, solemnity and professionalism of this important process.

Meanwhile, Ambassador Carlos Miguel Pereira recalled that this Code has a regulatory body in keeping with the Cuban society of these times and reflects the rights of all family actors on the basis of respect to the difference and the visibility of the most vulnerable sectors.

The Family Code Project was recently approved by the Cuban National People’s Power Assembly and then published in the Official Gazette of the island to give way to the referendum that will begin on February 1.
