Diaz-Canel is making the visit in his capacity as secretary general of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) to check the organization’s work in the territory. In a message on Twitter, the leader assured that the Party’s agenda should increasingly resemble that of the nation.
He previously visited Sancti Spiritus, also in the center of the island 360 kilometers east of Havana, in three intense days of work that included tours of agricultural centers, communities in transformation and meetings with Party members.
