According to the TV channel, the soldiers belong to the British Army Special Operations Brigade, and arrived in the Ukrainian territory on the aircraft that transferred the first anti-tank light weapons promised by London to Kiev.
The source added that since British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace announced to Parliament on Monday the supply of weapons to Ukraine, the Royal Air Force C-17 transport aircraft transferred more than 2,000 anti-tank missile launchers to that nation.
The new weapons supply adds to London’s years of logistical assistance to Kiev, which includes two minesweeper ships and an agreement to jointly manufacture eight other warships.
The UK and its North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) allies accuse Russia of wanting to invade Ukraine, whose Government requested the membership of the US-led military alliance.
