In a meeting that evaluated the operation, projections and goals of the government management system based on science and technological innovation of that body, the president highlighted the role of the Technical Advisory Council, in which, he said, together with experts from the field there must also be jurists and specialists in Marxism and Political Economy.
He explained that these policies must be projected towards social justice, take into account the way of redistributing in Socialism, in order not to lose sight of these premises and achieve their robustness from the legal point of view, as well as in the Marxist argumentation.
He also insisted that among the activities that most require science and innovation are the formation of prices and the management of local budgets.
If we want more participation, popular control, greater democracy, we must change the conception of our municipal budgets, which he – he pointed out – are not today in function of solving the fundamental problems identified by the population in those localities.
He also called for taking advantage of the experiences of recent years of confronting Covid-19, and advancing in the concepts of teleworking, remote work and the expansion of procedures digitally.
If the pandemic left us these lessons, we have to maintain and promote them, he pointed out.
The head of the branch, Meisi Bolaños, presented the main priorities, strengths, elements to be perfected and the structure with which this ministry seeks to fulfill its mission of proposing the country’s financial, budgetary, tax, accounting, equity, price and public credit policies. .
