The event, held at Cuba’s diplomatic representation, was presided over by Ambassador to India Alejandro Simancas.
The members of Electoral Commission will be in charge of organizing, directing and supervising the participation of Cubans who are fulfilling official missions abroad during said popular consultation and voting.
Three officials from the mission were appointed in accordance with their positions and the provisions of the Electoral Law, the oath and the instructions from the National Electoral Council.
Cuba’s Family Code Project, approved by the National People’s Power Assembly, was published in the Official Gazette to give way to the popular consultation process that will begin on February 1.
