President Ebrahim Raisi affirmed that the aim is to neutralize the coercive anti-Iranian measures ordered by the United States, but the country’s economy cannot be subject to the negotiations in the Austrian capital, he said.
Raisi used a very Iranian phrase to illustrate his Government’s strategy, “we are not putting all our eggs in one basket when we deal with the sanctions imposed by Washington,” he stressed.
The Iranian negotiators and those from the remaining JCPOA signatories (the United Kingdom, France, Russia, China and Germany) are holding the eighth round of talks in Vienna to seek how the United States returns to the deal it illegally abandoned in 2018.
However, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken still uses inappropriate terms with the threat that, if that mediation fails, Washington was ready to other options.
After withdrawing from the nuclear deal sealed in 2015, the US Government imposed more than 1,000 oppressive measures against Iran.
