A report from the agency stated that during that month, exports value increased by 48.2 percent to reach 3.76 billion dollars, while imports grew 15.3 percent or 6.39 billion dollars.
According to national authorities, Egyptian non-oil exports totaled 31 billion dollars in 2021, a record figure in the country’s history.
Among the main exported items were chemicals and fertilizers, construction materials, food, engineering and electronic goods, and clothing.
