With these 28 new deaths, Puerto Rico´s death toll jumped to 48 for the second day in a row, while giving the total of 3,421, since the start of the pandemic.

15 women and 13 men died, 11 of them had received two coronavirus doses, four received the third booster and eight had not been vaccinated.

According to Wednesday afternoon´s report by the Puerto Rican public health agency, hospitalizations total 873, of which 773 are adults and a hundred are children.

There are 112 adults and five children in Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
