In a letter, Kim, who is also the president of State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) highlighted more than six decades of socialist construction in Cuba, lead by the people and the Communist Party (PCC).

He also highlighted Cuba’s struggle to continue the revolutionary cause initiated and developed by its historic leaders, and the implementation of the agreements of the 8th PCC Congress, held last April.

Furthermore, Kim expressed his full support and firm solidarity.

Expressing my assurance that the precious traditions of friendship and unity between our two parties and countries will continue developing unceasingly in the common struggle for the fulfillment of the socialist cause, I wish you the best of success in your noble and responsible work.
