“Building in-house capabilities in the quantum computing technology space is strategic for India, as it will fuel our AI supremacy ambitions, which would boost the Indian economy,” said Sumant Parimal, founding partner, Innogress and Promoter of GKQCTP.
“Most of our present computing technology is likely to become redundant and obsolete in the next few years, due to which India may not be in a position to augment its digital technologies for a $5T and beyond economic future. Therefore, keeping India’s future GDP growth requirements in mind, we have proposed setting up the first quantum computing technology park in Gujarat.
The park will be creating a robust quantum technology ecosystem, right from research & development, design & engineering, simulation, and testing, to manufacturing, packaging, and enabling skills in quantum tech,” he added.
