The Ministry of Public Health of Cuba (MINSAP) reported that 18,928 samples were analyzed for epidemiological control, bringing the figure to 11,575,629.
Of the total number of cases reported at the end of December 25th, 17 came from abroad and the source of contagion of another four is still undetermined.
By age group, 24 patients are under 20 years of age, 47 range from 20 to 39, 35 are between 40 to 59 and 16 are 60 and beyond.
The usual report published by MINSAP specified that 488 active cases are hospitalized, of them 477 are evolving stably, seven are serious and four critical. Sixty-six patients were discharged, for a total of 955,864 (99.1 percent).
The province of Havana registered the highest number of positive cases (41), followed by Ciego de Ávila (12), while Holguín confirmed 11 patients.
