According to the meeting’s agenda, the lawmakers will be briefed on the implementation of the National Symbols Bill and the economic and social development program for the fulfillment of the 2030-agenda.
They will also discuss the Government’s plan for the Advancement of Women and will hold consultations on the proposed Family Code, as well as the Mother-Child Program and passenger transportation.
The legislators will also evaluate the estimates of the economy for this year and the proposal for 2022.
Other issues for debate will be the implementation of the Land Water Bill and the draft on land and urban planning and land management, the latter already discussed on Saturday by the parliamentarians.
The National People’s Power Assembly is in session from Saturday to December 22, when the lawmakers will pay tribute to Cuban teachers on the anniversary of the Literacy Campaign.
