Both ministers reviewed the military cooperation, which increased despite challenges posed by Covid-19, as well as ways to increase cooperation.

India and France concluded recently their Shakti yearly exercise, centered on counter-terrorist operations, and which was conducted in France this year.

The parties also debated the defense industry cooperation, emphasizing future collaboration and joint military production between both States.

The ministers recognized their convergence in a series of strategic and defense questions and expressed their commitment to working together to improve cooperation in bilateral, regional and multilateral forums.
