According to Jornal de Angola and Angop news agency, the Ministry of Health (MINSA) reiterated its willingness to continue negotiations and regretted that the union leadership, in the person of its president, systematically avoids participation in the scheduled meetings.
According to the organization, such attitude lacks “plausible justification,” which makes the continuity of the dialogue unfeasible; however, the union declared it maintains the strike and other protests due to the MINSA lacks availability to develop those talks.
The text, quoted by Jornal de Angola and Angop, reiterated the Government’s concern about the union leadership’s attitude, which described as obstructionist and detrimental to the health and welfare of the population.
