Cubans in France condemn at EP maneuver against their homeland

Paris, Dec 16 (Prensa Latina) The Coordinating Committee of Cuban Residents in France on Thursday repudiated the debate planned at the European Parliament (EP) against the island with accusations on human rights, a position it described as interference, neocolonialist and slanderous.

In a communique, the Coordinating Committee also condemned that this crusade is taking place at the European Parliament for the third time in the last six plenary sessions, promoted by far-right MEPs.

Once again, reactionary elements of the European Parliament play the sad role of lackeys of a policy dictated from the United States and instigated by far-right extremists based in Miami, the text warned.

According to the Cubans linked to that organization, the real objective of the new debate with lies about human rights in the Caribbean country is to hinder the implementation of its Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement with the European Union.
