The official recalled that Venezuela became the first country in the Western Hemisphere to register the Sputnik-V vaccine and test it successfully.
The Venezuelan representative highlighted the existence of regular supplies of the Russian vaccine to his country, and the fact that Caracas has also registered the Sputnik Light and EpiVacCorona.
He stressed that scientific-technical cooperation between the two countries intensified in the context of the pandemic and stated that the Russian Fund for Direct Investment is an important partner and ally of Venezuela in the fight against SARS-CoV-2.
