On his official Twitter account, the president recalled that the celebration pays tribute to Raul Gomez Garcia, who was born on December 14, 1928, and participated in the attack on the Guillermon Moncada military barracks in an attempt to overthrow the Fulgencio Batista dictatorship (1952- 1959).
In this regard, the head of State recalled a phrase from the so-called Poet of the Centennial Generation: “In our arms the clamorous dreams that vibrate in the superior soul of the Cuban rise up.”
The workers in different agencies of the Ministry of Culture, music, theater, cinema, dance, circus, literature, libraries, heritage, as well as those of the written, radio and televised press, celebrate their day on Tuesday.
