In its monthly bulletin about the issue, the agency highlighted that during that period, Egypt’s exports increased by 36.6 percent to register 3.45 billion dollars.

According to CAPMAS, the increase was motivated by higher sales of fertilizers, food products and clothing.

Meanwhile, imports rose 8.2 percent to 5.84 billion dollars.
