During a videoconference meeting, the Cuban president thanked the work made by over 50 medical brigades that have joined the international collaboration to contain the pandemic since 2020.

The meeting was attended by over 900 doctors and back-up staff, according to the Havana Health Directorate.

Participants paid tribute to medical collaborators who died during the fight against the disease.
