This new technical and professional agreement will contribute to provide medical care to Mauritanians as well as to strengthen mutual capacities for international collaboration.

During the agreement signing, both sides expressed their willingness to continue strengthening existing friendly and cooperative relations, according to Cuba´s Public Health Ministry (MINSAP, in Spanish).

Cuba and Mauritania have close bilateral relations, and the implementation of a cooperation agreement on health matters.
