Iran’s chief negotiator, Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani, stated that the priority of the demands consists of the total elimination of the coercive measures against the Islamic Republic.

According to Iranian authorities, saving the JCPOA quickly is difficult, while a negative spirit prevails in the European signatories (the United Kingdom, France and Germany) and not so in Russia and China.
The deal fell into crisis since the United States’ illegal withdrawal in May 2018, after which it reimposed anti-Iranian sanctions that were left behind with the signing of the pact.
