In the presence of the Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, Garcia noted that such expectations are supported by wide air operations, the commitment and professionalism of all partners inside and outside Cuba, as well as the support from the sectors of the economy and the Government.

Cuba guarantees safe tourism, emphasized Garcia, who referred to the implementation of health protocols in all hotels and service facilities, more than 2,000 of which were certified with the most hygienic and safe tourism condition.

Add to this that workers in the sector are vaccinated against Covid-19 and have received booster doses as well, in addition to the fact that the Cuban population, in its vast majority, has also been immunized.

The minister pointed out that new facilities were ready for this season, although efforts focused on improving the existing ones, reviewing product designs and expanding non-hotel offers.

Likewise, they strengthened ties with cultural institutions to enhance Cuba’s attractions as a cultural destination and the commitment to much more accessible and responsible tourism in all its dimensions, including the environment.
