The Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) noted on its website that the death toll remains at 8,311.
On Tuesday, all molecular biology laboratories in Cuba made 17,448 PCR tests in real time to detect the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, totaling 11,250,174 samples so far.
Of the total number of cases, authorities are working to detect the source of contagion in four patients.
By age groups, the MINSAP report stated that one is under 20 years of age, 17 are from 20 to 39, 30 from 40 to 59, and 30 others are 60 of age or older.
According to the MINSAP, 407 active cases are in hospitals or homes nationwide, 391 of them are clinically stable, seven are seriously ill and nine are in a critical condition.
On Tuesday, 145 patients were discharged from hospitals and 954,572 people have recovered from the disease so far, accounting for 99.1 percent.
