Former Minister of Justice, Rockefeller Vincent, is expected to attend the hearing next Monday, while former foreign and also Acting Prime Minister, Claude Joseph, as well as police director at the time of the assassination, Léon Charles, are summoned for the 14 and 15 of December, respectively.
According to newspaper Le Nouvelliste, Orélien has already interviewed some 30 people in connection with the dossier, including widow Martine Moïse, as well as politician and former Minister of Justice, Paul Dennis, who was subject to an arrest warrant by the Prosecutor’s Office.
“Of the 44 people already arrested in relation to the case, the judge has interviewed 29 of them, plus 18 other people who are not in prison”, a source told the newspaper.
Former Foreign Minister Claude Joseph acknowledged the summons and assured he will appear at the hearing. “President Jovenel Moïse died while I was prime minister in office. I was waiting for this invitation because, in any normal investigation, I had to be called”, he stressed.
