Iran awaits West’s response on nuclear issue

Irán, Occidente, respuesta, tema, nuclear
Tehran, Dec 6 (Prensa Latina) Iran is reportedly waiting for the West's response on two proposals made during the resumption of the talks in Vienna, Austria, to revive the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal.

President Ebrahim Raisi said that despite speculation that Tehran lacks initiative on the pact, two proposals are on the table.

During his third speech on television since he took office in August, the head of State noted that his Government worked for a favorable solution to the national interests regarding the nuclear deal.

The scripts presented to the signatories of the JCPOA (the United Kingdom, France, Russia and China, plus Germany) includes the total elimination of the oppressive US anti-Iranian measures, he stressed.

Two actions concentrated the Iranian Executive in its first 100 days in office, he assured, to overcome the sanctions and also to lift them.

Since November 6, Iran and the signatories of the nuclear deal have been taking part in the 7th round of talks dedicated to revive it, following the crisis the illegal withdrawal of the United States in 2018 caused.
