Addressing the Mediterranean Dialogues forum, Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi stressed that this is the only way to achieve a just and lasting peace in the region.
“Undermining that solution will lead to a government system based on apartheid (separate development of races and in this case confessions),” he added.
Safadi warned about the impossibility that the current situation continues, because it lacks political vision and aggravates the economic challenges of the Palestinian people and the Palestinian Authority.
Jordan has strived for cooperation from partners and friends, which requires avoiding the illegal Israeli measures that create an uncertain and violent scenario, he said.
