The art center of that institution hosts the exhibition until January 23, 2022, with some of the works done by artists such as Flora Fong (Cuba), Rita Fischer (Uruguay), Rodrigo Escobar (Colombia), Federico Bacher (Argentina) and Fernando Pacheco (Brazil).
A video, in which these and other artists of the region shared their experiences when they participated in several events organized since 2011 in conjunction with Chinese colleagues, was shown during the inauguration.
In addition, another video revises all the events held in China and nations of the subcontinent, which strengthened the cultural bridge overcoming the geographical barriers and language.
Among them are a 2016 photographic exhibition about late Cuban leader Fidel Castro (1926-2016), the Botero project in China and the successive editions of the “Sharing the Beauty” program, which brought together here renowned exponents of Latin American and Caribbean visual arts.
