Cuba has accumulated 962,892 contagions and 8,306 deaths since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic almost 21 months ago.
According to the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), 647 patients are in hospitals, while 3,487 others are at home, 2,742 of them are Covid-19 suspects and 98 are under surveillance.
The MINSAP report states that Holguin is the hardest-hit province by the disease, reporting 31 new cases.
During the last few hours, 160 patients have been discharged from clinics, so 953,882 have been recovered from the disease.
Twenty-two people remain in intensive care units, including nine seriously ill and 13 in critical condition.
