On Tuesday, when the portfolio of projects available for foreign capital was announced, Minister for Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, explained that one of the new features this year is the inclusion of 60 projects sponsored by local governments.
In addition, more possibilities with lower investment amounts, such as administration contracts (70), at no cost, and about 30 where the fund to be contributed does not reach 500,000 dollars, are also added.
Malmierca said that these options are of interest to small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as the Cuban residents abroad, who show their desire to invest in the places where their family roots are.
This Wednesday, participants in the forum will provide detailed information on the possibilities open to Cuban entrepreneurs abroad, in addition to presenting a panel on the experiences of non-state management forms in foreign trade.
