Raisi ratifies Iran’s goodwill in nuclear talk

Tehran, Nov 30 (Prensa Latina) Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi ratified his Government's goodwill to resolve the crisis created by the United States after withdrawing from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) or nuclear deal.

In a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, quoted by Mehr Agency on Tuesday, Raisi said that the sending of a comprehensive team to Vienna, Austria, shows the seriousness with which the Islamic Republic took these talks.

Raisi asked Macron to work with the JCPOA’s remaining signatories to lift the US anti-Iranian coercive measures.

Since Monday, a talk has been taking place in the Austrian capital between Tehran and the 4+1 group (the United Kingdom, France, Russia and China plus Germany) with the aim of reviving the JCPOA, in crisis due to the illegal withdrawal of the United States.

Washington went even further when it reimposed oppressive measures to the Islamic Republic and the European triad that signed the pact did not react to such decisions as the nuclear deal stipulated.
