In the meeting, both high-ranking officials expressed their will to strengthen political-diplomatic, economic, commercial, cultural and cooperation ties, Cuba’s Foreign Ministry (MINREX) reported on its official website.

Rodríguez and Titov also addressed some other current affairs and ratified both countries´ attachment to multilateralism, international law and the principles of the UN Charter.

Cuba and Russia still sustain a political dialogue at the highest level, which is expressed in a fluid exchange of visits.
