Extremists from the so-called Levant Liberation Board -inscribed on the international terrorism list- stored toxic substances in underground shelters near the town of Saramada, reported Rear Admiral Vadim Kolit, deputy head of the Russian Coordination Center based in Hemeimim.
He pointed out that the radicals plan to use these materials in the manufacture of chemical attacks to accuse Syrian soldiers of using internationally banned weapons.
The military of Syria and Russia denounced these attempts by the extremists on several occasions, the last one was on October 2 last when they reported that the terrorists made modifications to the locally manufactured rockets and added warheads with chlorine and sarin gases to use them by the terrorist organizations.
Syria repeatedly rejected reports from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) that accused the Damascus authorities of using this type of weapon and assured that terrorists stage attacks to blame the State, following orders from their external operators.
He also denounced that these actions are managed and supported by the United States, some Western allied governments and the Turkish intelligence services, which not only offer advice but also media and political coverage.
