According to the Ministry’s website, all molecular biology laboratories in Cuba made 21,583 PCR tests in real time on Thursday to detect the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, totaling 11,024,091 samples so far.
According to MINSAP, 1,020 active patients are in hospitals or homes nationwide, and 990 of them are clinically stable.
It added that 30 patients are being treated in intensive care units, including 14 in critical condition and 16 who are seriously ill.
Cuba has accumulated 961,884 contagions and 952,508 recovered patients since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020. The death toll remains at 8,299.
