March for the Homeland in support of President continues in Bolivia

Bolivia, marcha, Patria, reanudación
La Paz, nov 24 (Prensa Latina) Members of so-called 'March for the Homeland' that support the government of President Luis Arce and democracy began on Wednesday the second day of marching on their way to La Paz.

“Happy with the response. From 05:00, the people mobilized and marching”, tweeted the leader of Movement To Socialism (MAS), Evo Morales, who has led the march since Tuesday.

Morales emphasized that the people know there is a group on the right that works against the country and does not want humble families to improve their living standard.

Unlike the de facto government of Jeanine Áñez, he added, Arce’s mandate seeks economic reactivation and helping the Bolivian people in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Among organizations guiding the mobilization are the Central Obrera Boliviana (Bolivian workers Union) and the Pacto de Unidad (Pact of Agreement), made up of entities like the Confederación Sindical Única de Trabajadores Campesinos (Peasant Workers Union Confederation) .

The Bartolina Sisa National Confederation of Native Indigenous Peasant Women and the Trade Union Confederation of Indigenous Intercultural Communities are also present in the march.

The list of social institutions making up the March includes the National Council of Ayllus and Markas from the Qullasuyu and the Confederation of Indigenous Peoples of Bolivian East.

Yesterday they left Caracollo, in the department of Oruro, led by President Arce, Vice President David Choquehuanca, and Morales.

Arce called on all Bolivians to defend unity in the face of the opposition aggression and assured this mobilization will prove the popular cohesion.
