On his second and penultimate day of his state visit to the Republic of Korea, Alvarado will participate in the business meeting Land for Trade and Investment Opportunities, as well as will plant a tree in Seoul’s Costa Rica Square.
He will also have meetings with representatives of the South Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, the South Korean Cultural Association, and the Global Knowledge Exchange and Development Center.
This Monday, on the first day of his stay, the two Governments agreed to promote the social solidarity economy in the world as a tool for the post-Covid-19 recovery, with the firm intention of reducing the inequalities accentuated by the pandemic.
Alvarado proposed that the two countries promote the social solidarity economy bilaterally and multilaterally in forums such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the World Trade Organization and the International Labor Organization.
