The blockade imposed by the United States and its unilateral coercive measures did not prevent the heroic Venezuelan people from exercising their constitutional right to elect regional and municipal public authorities, it stressed.
According to the Bolivarian Circle of Paris, the 42 percent turnout must be assumed objectively, considering that historically this type of elections attracts fewer voters, the impact of external aggressiveness and the domestic scenario.
The statement concludes by repudiating the illegal unilateral coercive measures and Washington’s interference in Venezuela’s internal affairs.
