Civility and peace in Venezuelan elections praised in France

Francia-and-Venezuela
Paris, Nov 23 (Prensa Latina) The Bolivarian Circle of Paris on Tuesday highlighted the civility expressed by the Venezuelan people in Sunday's elections and the peaceful environment in which they took place, despite the hostility by the United States.

In a statement to which Prensa Latina had access, it recognized the national dialogue promoted by President Nicolas Maduro as the key for the return of the opposition political parties to the ballot box, in a process that ratified the transparency of the electoral system of Venezuela.

The organization that supports the Bolivarian Revolution in France celebrated the victory of the Great Patriotic Pole, which won 205 of 322 town offices and at least 18 of the 23 posts of governors.

The blockade imposed by the United States and its unilateral coercive measures did not prevent the heroic Venezuelan people from exercising their constitutional right to elect regional and municipal public authorities, it stressed.

According to the Bolivarian Circle of Paris, the 42 percent turnout must be assumed objectively, considering that historically this type of elections attracts fewer voters, the impact of external aggressiveness and the domestic scenario.

The statement concludes by repudiating the illegal unilateral coercive measures and Washington’s interference in Venezuela’s internal affairs.
