According to the Office’s website, 10 million 129 thousand 65 people have gotten a dose of Cuban immunizers, while nine million 168 thousand 994 already have a second, and eight million 574 thousand 425 have been administered the third dose.
With the full vaccination plan against Covid-19 there are nine million 50 thousand 528 people, which represent 80.9 percent of the population, the source said.
It was recently reported that 100 percent of the vaccine-eligible population of Cuba already has at least a first dose of some of the anti-Covid-19 immunizers produced in the nation.
In the table of ‘vaccinable’ population, convalescents with less than two months of having suffered the disease (who cannot be immunized) and patients with severe conditions are excluded.
Neither are those having undergone emergency surgeries and other diseases, those stranded in other countries and children under two years of age.
Meanwhile, the anti-Covid-19 booster dose process is being developed in the country.
