According to tweet by Deputy Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Ana Teresita Gonzalez, the high official and his delegation will meet with the co-president of the Cuba-Russia Intergovernmental Commission, Yuri Borisov.
Last month, the vice president of the Russian Government traveled to Cuba, heading a delegation that reviewed issues such as the status and prospects of economic, commercial, financial and cooperation ties.
On that occasion, Borisov met with President Miguel Diaz-Canel, to whom he ratified that Cuba is a strategic partner for Russia and that relations between the two states are an unbreakable priority.
He reaffirmed that Cuba is vital for Russia in Latin America and the Caribbean, which is why his visit to Havana was aimed at increasing bilateral cooperation.
