Over 15 million people will go to the polls on Sunday to elect next-to-be president, 27 senators, 155 deputies and regional councilors.
“We are facing an uncertain presidential election and a parliamentary election without clarity, implying that next president is going to have a rather uneven congress,” Jofre said in an interview with Prensa Latina.
Much-questioned polls for erring in forecasts during past two years, put Gabriel Boric, from the left-wing Approve Dignity alliance, and the far-right José Antonio Kast, from the Christian Social Front, in first places.
To Jofre, although Boric and Kast are still most likely mentioned, there may also be a surprise with Yasna Provoste or Sebastián Sichel.
