Ugandan authorities arrest 21 people for organizing attacks

Kampala, Nov 19 (Prensa Latina) Ugandan authorities on Friday informed that they arrested 21 people involved in the organization of two explosions in Kampala on Tuesday, in which six citizens, included three suicide bombers, were killed.

Police spokesperson Fred Enanga also told the local press that in the framework of the investigation related to the violent incidents, claimed by the radical Islamic State group, five suspects involved in the criminal actions were also killed.

The bomb attacks in Kampala took place near Parliament and a checkpoint close to the central police station, Monitor online newspaper reported.

Following the attacks with explosives in this East African country, the police and the Army reinforced security at the request of President Yoweri Museveni, who warned that the terrorists will be defeated.
