The state’s statistics agency CAPMAS informed that during that period, this nation sold merchandise and goods worth 3.90 billion dollars to the rest of the continent.
Libya topped the list of purchases with 711 million dollars, followed by Sudan with 588 million dollars, Morocco (513 million dollars), Algeria (448 million dollars) and Kenya (284 million dollars), CAPMAS detailed.
Meanwhile, Egypt’s imports totaled 1.45 billion dollars in those nine months, a 30.2 percent more than in the same period in 2020.
