The PdA members maintain their firm solidarity with the Cuban people at this time, when counterrevolutionary elements under the guidance of the United States strive to misinform about the situation on the Caribbean island to create uncertainty and discontent, the document points out.
The text emphasizes that the US criminal blockade is responsible for the economic and social problems in Cuba.
It also reaffirms that only socialism enables the Cuban people to live without exploitation, with full participation in a high-level health and education system, cultural diversity, social security and sovereignty.
On November 15, the Austria-Cuba Friendship Association condemned the actions by small counterrevolutionary groups, supported by the United States, in order to subvert the order in the Caribbean country and hinder the normalization of the economic and social life after being closed for nearly 18 months due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
