In a statement, the USPC revealed how the United States supports a destabilizing protest led by dissidents who blame Cuba´s socialist government for US blockade-caused conditions.

In this way, they seek to overthrow Cuba´s socialist system and for such a reason the US Government chucks away tens of millions of dollars goal-oriented to generate opposition elements in order to implement an explicit regime change policy, the USPC reported.

US destabilizing actions crop up, according to the Cuban authorities, after months fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, a harsh global economic crisis and a stricter blockade.

The USPC strongly condemns Washington’s regime change campaign and champions the sovereign right of peoples to determine their own destiny.

The Cuban Revolution, USPC added, threatens the neoliberal global order imposed and directed by the United States, not by its actions but its example: “Cuba is the living proof that a better world is possible, that is why imperialism is forced to plague it.”

The USPC also called for joint efforts to prevent the United States from achieving its goal of reversing the achievements of the Cuban Revolution, and expressed solidarity with the Cuban people and government.

Despite the tightening of the US blockade, the Cuban Revolution has achieved a lot and extends its solidarity with the whole world by sending health professionals to nations in need to fight the pandemic.
