According to Mehr News Agency, the minister explained that there is goodwill from the Islamic country towards these talks scheduled to resume on November 29 in Vienna, Austria.
Amir-Abdolahian specified that the Islamic Republic agreed to restart these negotiations, despite violations of the JCPOA, especially the disrespect for Resolution 2231 approved by the UN Security Council.
By abandoning acquiescence in May 2018, the US government made a mockery of that resolution, while the rest of the European signatories did not react to the US decision and accompanied the coercive anti-Iranian measures.
Iran and the rest of the signatories of the treaty, the so-called 4+1 group (United Kingdom, France, Russia and China plus Germany) held six rounds of dialogue in Vienna without any result.
The leaders of the Islamic nation ratified on several occasions that they will return to the stipulations of the multilateral agreement, if the other parties do so.
