“It is the occasion for a deserved tribute, #CubaVive, proud of its tireless health personnel, dedicated scientists, and the altruism of the worthy people of the Nation”, the Minister of Foreign Affairs wrote on Twitter.
Next Monday, the country will open its borders to international tourism, after the decrease in the rates of positive cases for Covid-19 and the progress in vaccination in the country.
A tweet from the Cuban Foreign Ministry also recalled that on that day, children from kindergarten to fifth grade of primary school will return to class, fully immunized, after almost a year of televised lessons and the restart in the last weeks of the school year for the rest of teaching levels. “The country will move forward in the new normal. No one is going to spoil the party!”, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs published on the social network, referring to the destabilizing attempts financed from the United States seeking to subvert the constitutional order in the country.
