According to a statement, Foreign Ministers Jean-Yves Le Drian and Sergei Lavrov and Defense Ministers Florence Parly and Sergei Choigou will participate in the meeting.
In addition to issues of strategic stability and European security, the meeting will address the political and military dimensions of regional and international crises, including conflicts in Ukraine and the Sahel-Saharan region, the French side specified.
Paris announced that together with Moscow it will analyze the joint efforts within the Minsk Group and the close cooperation between the E3 (France, the United Kingdom and Germany) and Russia to achieve a return to the nuclear agreement with Iran, destroyed by US President Donald Trump during his management from 2017 to 2021.
Similarly, the meeting will serve for an exchange of views on security in the Middle East, Afghanistan and the Indo-Pacific area, he added.
