To date, 19 of the country’s 23 states have the technological equipment that will be used in the regional and municipal elections, the top electoral entity stated in a press release.
A total of 750 CNE operators are working on configuring and calibrating those equipment that will issue the automated vote.
The verification of the technological instruments to vote and the execution of functioning tests in both, the voting machines and the Integrated Authentication System, took place on Monday without any incident, the electoral entity pointed out.
Venezuela will elect on November 21 the country’s 23 governors and 335 mayors, as well as the members of regional and municipal legislative councils.
