The President informed that this will make possible to reach the goal established by the Venezuelan State to immunize 90 percent of the population before December 31.

He highlighted that in the last four weeks there has been a sustained decrease in daily infections, “this week we had an average of 890 new cases and 1,162 recovered cases per day, this is the lowest point in more than a year of pandemic”.

He called on the population to get vaccinated and informed that thanks to the massive immunization the country achieved a 55 percent reduction in moderate and severe cases, as well as a 50 percent reduction in the mortality rate.

Maduro explained that in the next few days new treatments for Covid-19 will arrive in the country, among which he assured that there is one that has proved to be highly effective in reversing the infectious process in severe and moderate patients.

“ I will keep it secretly, so the empire can not steal them from us. I show them when I have them in hand. I just can say they come from one of the important vaccines manufacturers of the world.”, he said.

Regarding the vaccines, he indicated that one million 600 thousand Abdala vaccines are expected to arrive from Cuba, which will be added to the antigens applied in the country.
