Through his official Twitter account, the president recalled how students are returning to school after almost a year of distance and classes on television due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
He also emphasized that the vast majority will do so with their full vaccination plan against the disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
“Schools come to life and with them all of Cuba,” the head of state wrote on Twitter.
The institutions reopened on Monday welcome students in sixth grade, junior high school and high school, from all provinces, except for residents in the districts of Las Tunas, Granma, Holguín (all in the eastern part of the country), Camagüey, Villa Clara (center) and Mayabeque (west).
