The program will put 350 million dollars in the hands of these entities in the nine national departments, assured the president of the Federation of Municipal Associations (FAM-Bolivia), Enrique Leaño, in an interview with Bolivia Tv.

That institution of territorial entities, he explained, will regulate the use of the new funds and will train municipal government personnel to access the execution of programs and projects.

The head of FAM-Bolivia indicated that the strike called for Monday by the opposition against PDES has the sole intention of destabilizing the administration of President Luis Arce.

The so-called civic committees that encourage the cessation of activities as of November 8 do so so that Bolivia does not evolve as a State and they receive more personal benefits, Leaño denounced.
